Orientation

My husband has an incredible sense of direction.  No matter how many twists and turns we have made while driving, he can tell you where North is, where downtown is, and which way we should turn.  He orients himself with the location of the sun, noting the time of day and even the time of year.  I would say he spends a little too much time focusing on the location of the sun, but he would say that he just pays attention.  He doesn’t have to stare at the sun, he just knows where it is, and even when it is dark, he knows where it has been.  It’s amazing.  But after talking to the friend I mentioned yesterday, I realized that it’s the same with the Son.  It’s all about paying attention and getting oriented.  Whatever helps you do that, do it.  Then the direction part is much easier.
