Does it bother you when someone disagrees with you?  Especially when you know you’re right, but you can’t quite explain why?  It’s so frustrating.  I was thinking this morning about how my atheist husband used to challenge and question my beliefs.  Without end, it seemed sometimes.  I hated it, but every time he had a new question, I had to go find new answers.  Eventually, what happened was that my faith grew exponentially.  I not only believed, but I knew why I believed, and all the research backed me up, so I knew that it was reasonable that I believed.  My faith had a depth that it never had before.  Oh, and he also came to a wonderful faith himself.  It’s changed how I see most challenges to something I hold as a belief.  It’s a challenge to grow.  Not a bad thing at all.
