Hope

IMG_7454

Last DC quote – “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” Martin Luther King, Jr. accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, 1964. Words of hope that we have seen come true over and over again. We are made for more than evil and we know it. Even in complete tyranny, hope lives and bursts forth eventually. Next week, we go to the triumph of evil in the crucifixion, and we are made to wait, but Easter comes and it has been transformed.  It becomes a show of complete love to the point of sacrifice, and a glimpse of what we are destined for. We’ll walk through that next week….
