Follow Me 5

Did you notice the Gospel on Sunday? Jesus went across the sea, and a large crowd followed Him. He left, and they went to where He was going because they had seen the work He was doing. When we get a glimpse of God in our lives, we can’t just sit on our laurels and say, “Wasn’t that nice?” It’s like going to a restaurant and leaving after getting a good whiff of the smell. You’ve got to go in and sit down. And what does Jesus do when we follow where He goes? He looks out and says, “Tell them to sit down, and give them food to eat.” Stay a while, and be fed with plenty, even if the offering seems meager. Five loaves and two fish were enough for 5,000 with leftovers. If you are the one asked to feed the crowds, know that what you offer will be multiplied. Either way, be on the lookout for where He has gone. (John 6:1-14)
