Follow Me 17

Finally, we come out of the darkness and into the light. Jesus rises from the dead and returns to His followers. This part is the best one to follow. We are given hope, new life, and a new direction. It can seem like the whole goal and end of the Gospel is the death of Jesus, but really, without the resurrection, His death means nothing. This is really the point. In all of the little deaths and even the big ones, we are shown that new life can come from them. Not only that, but this one is much better than the last. We don’t have to wait to be a part of it, we can do it now. So, don’t stay in the tomb. That’s not where we are called to be. It was always meant to be temporary, and we have been given access to the One who can open it for us. Ask Him. (Matthew 28:1-20)
