Small Things

I have a couple friends whose children have been battling mental issues. It’s been a really rough road, but almost at the same time, they have found medication that has turned their lives around. It is amazing to me how a small thing about the size of a tic-tac can heal not only the person, but all the people around them. It’s really a little bit miraculous, isn’t it? The smallest thing brings peace to a household. The smallest thing brings joy to a heart. That’s what this Christmas is about. It’s the smallest thing. A baby enters the world. A star shines on the way. A glimmer of light breaks through the darkness, and the world will never be the same. Don’t miss those small things in this season. They can be the things that make the biggest difference.
