Unexpected Blessings

After my fourth child, I had major postpartum that manifested in anxiety and panic attacks. Looking back now, I really don’t ever want to do that again. It was just awful. But, at the same time, I would never trade the blessings and the growth in my spiritual life that came as a result of it.

My friend with cancer has said repeatedly that while she would not wish to have cancer, she is grateful for the cancer and what it has helped her do in her life and in her faith.

Until you live something like this, it is really hard to understand. So, I will tell you, and give you something to remember in those times when you might need it. God is amazing, and He uses wonders, miracles, and abundance to bless us. He will also use trials, challenges, and failures to fill us with more grace than we can imagine.

So, if you think God isn’t helping you, look again. Don’t miss your blessings because you don’t think they look like blessings.
