I love to dance. Moving to music, being spun around a dance floor, and even the coordinated line dances are all so much fun. Research shows that music and movement release endorphins, help facilitate healing, and improve our overall mental and emotional health.
We can sit on the side because we think we aren’t good enough, but our abilities don’t actually matter when it comes to the benefits.
It’s the same in life. We can sit on the sidelines, because we think we aren’t good enough. We can push things off until later, because we think we aren’t ready. At some point, we just have to jump onto the floor and start to move. Something simple at first, growing into something fluid, expressive, and beautiful. Something that is purely our own, moving our way through time and space to create our own unique dance.
You are good enough. You are ready enough.
