Confirmation

The angel tells Mary that Elizabeth is pregnant as an affirmation of her own miraculous pregnancy. I just love this. Any calling we have is never given in isolation. The world rings with it. Affirmations come from nowhere, doors are opened that shouldn’t open, doors are closed that we didn’t know should be closed, but push us in the right direction, and the message becomes clearer and clearer. We don’t always hear the whole thing at the beginning, but in looking back, we can see the signs leading us to where we are. Don’t forget to look.
